DESCRIPTION:
Melaleuca viridiflora or Melaleuca quinquenervia plant that hails from the family of Myrtaceae, is the source of Niaouli Oil. Mainly The light greenish and yellow colored ( may be colorless also) oil of this tree has pleasant smell that has refreshing effect. The slender stem and new born leaves are steam distilled to obtain this oil.

CONSTITUENTS:
Niaouli oil contains compounds like a-phellandrene, limonene, piperitone, a and b pinene, y-terpineol, linalool and 1,8-cineole.
