DESCRIPTION:Cubeb Oil is reckoned for its anti-inflammatory and antibacterial attributes. The gentle smell of this oil is reminiscence of the aroma of pepper that has invigorating effect both on mind and body.
CONSTITUENTS:Cubeb essential oil is enriched with beneficial compounds like epi-cubebol (4.3%), ß-elemene (9.4%), epi-cubebol (4.2%), cubebol (4.8%), cubebol (5.6%), cadinene (16.6%), trans-Sabinene hydrate (8.2%), ß-caryophyllene (3.1%), Sabinene (9.1%) and ß-caryophyllene (5.0%).
AROMATIC SUMMARY / NOTE / STRENGTH OF AROMA:A The top to middle note fragrance of this essential oil reminds about refreshing aroma of citrus oil. Although its aroma has slight similarity with the fragrance of Lemon Verbena and Lemongrass oils, yet cubeb oil has sweeter smell than musty lemongrass oil. Rather than Melissa oil, it is the cubeb oil that has perfect citrus smell.
BLENDS WITH:Cubeb oil mixes well with Ylang Ylang oil.
COMMON NAMES:Cubeb Oil is also referred as Tailed pepper oil.
USES:This aromatic oil is an excellent remedy for muscular pain and stress when used for massaging purpose. In fact, Cubeb Oil is beneficial for treating infections of gonorrhea, leucorrhoea and urinary tract.
