DESCRIPTION:Certified Organic Neroli oil is better known as orange blossom and comes from white blossoms of bitter orange tree. It is organically cultivated and is "Indian Organic Certified". The derived pale yellow oil is expensive to produce as it takes approximately one ton of flowers to extract 2 lb ( 1 kg ) of oil. These are handpicked when they are just about to open and then distilled.
CONSTITUENTS:Volatile oil, hesperidin, three glucosides, isohesperidin, aurantiamarin, aurantiamaric acid, resin.
AROMATIC SUMMARY / NOTE / STRENGTH OF AROMA:A middle note with a medium aroma, this type has dry top notes
BLENDS WITH:Aniseed, bergamot, bitter almond, jasmine, lavender, all citrus oils, rose geranium rosemary, sandalwood, ylang-ylang, etc.
COMMON NAMES:Egyptian Neroli Oil, Orange Blossom.
USES:Certified Organic Neroli oil is very relaxing and helps in providing relief from chronic anxiety, fear, depression, shock & stress. Its calming effect is also beneficial for the digestive tract where it is used for treating intestinal spasms, colitis & diarrhoea. It also helps in insomnia cases as it has sedative effects. When used on skin, neroli oil helps in regeneration of skin cells, useful to prevent ugly scar tissue, promoting smoother skin, fighting stretch marks & broken capillaries.
