DESCRIPTION:Valerian (Valeriana officinalis, Valerianaceae) is a hardy perennial flowering plant having sweetly scented pink/ white flowers. Finding usage as perfume, it is prepared from roots of plant, which, after maceration, trituration and dehydration processes. The final extract is used for effects including anxiolytic and sedation effect.
