DESCRIPTION:Orange is an evergreen tree that has dark green leaves and white flowers. The tree has bright orange round fruit with roughish skin. These trees are native to China, but now cultivated in various parts of America. The oil of orange is used in many Curacao type liqueurs and for flavouring several types of food, drink and confectionery items.
CONSTITUENTS:It mainly consists of a-pinene, sabinene, myrcene, limonene, linalool, citronellal, neral and geranial.
AROMATIC SUMMARY / NOTE / STRENGTH OF AROMA:A middle note with a medium aroma, Orange Five Fold has a sweet, citrus smell like the orange peels from which it is derived, but more intense and concentrated.
BLENDS WITH:This orange oil blends well with black pepper, cinnamon, cloves, frankincense, ginger, sandalwood and vetiver.
